Baked hummus balls

Ingredients

1 pack of hummus

1 block of natural tofu

1 block of smoked tofu

Black salt, black pepper

Ground paprika, basil, oregano

Sesame and hemp seeds

Olive oil

Corn breadcrumbs

Instructions

Put the diced tofu into the blender and mince it. Add the remaining ingredients into tis foundation. Hummus, seeds, herbs and salt.

Blend everything together, either in the blender or manually and form balls. Coat the balls with breadcrumbs, drip with olive oil and place on a baking tray covered with baking paper and let it bake in the oven pre-heated to 160°C for 35 minutes.

Do not skimp on the oil. The oil and the breadcrumbs serve as the main binder of the crispy crust, which is the successful result of well-prepared hummus balls.

Serve the balls with a dressing of your choice. We have good experience with rather a more spicier kind which goes well with the creamy taste of the balls.

Do not hesitate to invite your family or friends, you will have plenty. We had balls even for the next day and we must say that we enjoyed them as much as we the day we made them.
